The Fantastic Journal of Ms Fabregas

Like i told u guys and what lyra added to the story, is it possible to take from the vending machine point of view?

The idea:

When BOB(random name) puts in the coin, the vending machine comes to life. like u know, the coin is like the “food”. when he press the button for a drink, the vending machine should be reacting to the what have been pressed but instead like one of the releaser is jammed(u noe when they “gate” they releases the drink) the vending tries its best to open up but to no avail. so the consumer gets really upset and hit it the plastic panel(the face of the vending machine) and feels hurt. so in anger and guilty @ the same time, the vending machine released a lot of drinks.(u noe mr VJ story is the man walked off empty handed?we change that part) so when the man gets the drinks and he hugged the vending machine.

den we can have like a message. i cant think of it right now but u noe for kit kat is” have a break. have a kit kat” we have something? wadya think?

At some point of your life, you must have dreamt of wanting to become somebody someday.  Well, for Freda, she dreams of becoming a train driver.

As for me, I had lots of dreams.

This was what I wanted to be when I grow up. As I grew older, I changed as to what I want to be. I started of as a doctor followed by a mathematician, an account, a businesswoman and even a psychiatrist. Well, you people out there might be asking, WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING IN AN ART BASED COURSE?

Well, my answer is simple. The minute I saw this course, I fell in love with it.
LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT.

It is true. Seriously. Betul, tak bedek. Wo mei you sa huang.

Day by day, as I learn more things in my course, I’m starting to discover my artistic talent. Well, I knew I had no potential at all in drawing. BUT as time goes by, I can see my talent coming out

ANYWAY,

NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I DREAMT OF BEING A MODEL. YA..  A MODEL. Me? A model? That’s absurd!

I’ll tell you what happen.

I was walking down Orchard Road (Wisma Atria- Takashimaya) ALONE cause I was on the way to meet my friends when this group of people (around  4-5) came to approach me. The way they started to conversation was REEEEEEEEAAAAAAALLLY WEIRD!

They crowd around me and I couldn’t ESCAPE! URGH!

One of them: Excuse me. We think you have what it takes to be a model. Look at you, you have a sense of style. Those nice Oakley glasses and skinny jeans are really pretty. Would you like to become a freelance model?

I was like “What the hell?! Are they like stalkers or something? Look at someone so closely they just say they have what it takes to be a model?”

The polite person I am, I took off my sunglasses and gave them the what the hell look.[I just had to do it]

I said thanks and I walked off.

That was scary. I wonder who else they went to scare.

I’VE DECIDE TO MAKE PUT MY PICTURES HERE:

Yea.. maybe after admiring my OWN pictures,

I DO LOOK LIKE A MODEL.

{May 26, 2009}   JACKFRUIT JUICE ANYONE?

I was at Bugis Street with my grandma as she wanted to find some things for her siblings living in Indonesia. The good granddaughter I am, I followed her. Bugis Street is as crowded and stuffy as usual. So I decided to grab a nice cooling fruit juice. While I was queuing up at the drink stall, guess what I saw?

LOOK!

Jackfruit

NICE WAY OF PROMOTING YOUR LATEST JUICE ISN’T IT? I must tell you, the jackfruit juice is like so delicious! Normally when you buy a cup of fruit juice, they give you more ice, less of the fruit right? For the one I drank, there was more fruit than ice. IT LIVED UP TO ITS STANDARD- FRUIT JUICE NOT A CUP OF DRINK FILLED WITH ICE! FYI: It REALLY quenched my thirst.

The next time you go Bugis Street, GO get a cup of fruit juice.

MY ADVICE TO ANYONE WHO DREAMS OF OPENING A FRUIT JUICE STALL:

Think of this nicely decorated jackfruit. It is an innovative way to promote you latest fruit juice drink. THE JACKFRUIT LOOKED COOL HENCE IMPLYING THAT YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE A NICE COOL FRUIT JUICE.

BOTTOM LINE: GET A CUP OF COLD DELICIOUS JUICE TODAY. THE HOT WEATHER WILL URGE YOU TO BUY ONE!

PS: The owner better thank me, man. I promoted his fruit juice stall to the world! He SHOULD be giving me (not a lifetime membership, DUH) but a free drink at least. Seriously.

{May 17, 2009}   Curry Puffs or Empanadas?

When you think or Old Chang Kee, the first thing that will come to your mind is the famous

Curry O. For you those out there who doesn’t know what Curry O is, I’ll tell you cause I’m a

good person☺ Curry O is actually a curry puff that is filled with curried potato, egg and

chicken. Curry puff.. hmmm… delicious right?

But have you guys wondered where this delicious filling food originated from? Well, I have.

I threw this question to my friends and family, and guess what?

Their answers were as such:

Malaysia (60%) Indonesia (35%) and lastly Thailand (5%). And if I ask you the same question

as to where curry puffs originated from, you’ll most probably answer from one of the above

countries.

WHICH EVER YOUR ANSWER IS, YOU ARE W-R-O-N-G. Yeah, you heard me. WRONG!

So where exactly does curry puffs originated from? Some of you will think I’m kidding but it

is the truth! It actually originated from Spain! Yea, Spain. Espagne! Spaniens! Espanha!

Spagna! Espanyol! Uh-huh. A very unlikely place right? Well, I was surprised myself when I

read this piece of article. Why in the world did I start with this topic? Well, I just browsing

through the websites to find recipes for my sister’s home economics practical when I came

across this website. It said that Empanadas are the food of the Spanish Speaking Gods.

Some of you who still catch no balls,

Empanadas = Curry Puffs

If you are still not convinced with what I’ve just said (I don’t know why because I’m the most

truthful person that is living in the world right now) you can google “Where does Empanadas

originated from?”

Espanadas

Bottom line is- Have a curry puff today☺ Hot, delicious, tender curry puff.

I simply had to compare this! Between two simple occasions and group of people, I get a

NORTH POLE &SOUTH POLE answer.

NORTH POLE: When I say the let’s have pizza for dinner, the money-minded people like my

friends, they will go “Wah, so expensive. How about we go to the coffee shop instead. It is

cheaper.” HOW NICE OF THEM! YA RIGHT.

SOUTH POLE: When I say the exact same thing to my family members, their response would

be ”How about we order one large Super Supreme, one large Hawaiian and one regular

Pepperoni. What else should we order?” We do not buy pizzas on special occasions

only. When we feel like eating it, it is just as simple as dialing the numbers. We ordered that

much as we had a few relatives from Indonesia who visited us that day. It was the

deliveryman’s bad karma that day because it  rained just when we ordered so much pizza.

However, the pizza company never fails its customers, in this case, my family. They promised

us that there wouldn’t be any delays despite the bad weather. we ordered from

said there won’t be any delays. All we had to do was wait for around forty-five minutes for the

delivery of the pizzas. The promised forty- five minutes turned out to be an hour and a half! By

the time the deliveryman arrived, my relatives had gone back. My aunt, being a great debater,

argued with the deliveryman saying that the guests had gone home and the pizza was actually

for them. She also made a phone call to the pizza company and talked to the manager about

not fulfilling their promise. After coming into a joined conclusion, we got FREE pizzas. THAT’S

RIGHT.

FREE

Pizza

PERCUMA, LIBRE. GRATIS. Mian Fei 免费. ZERO CASH NEEDED!

At some point, I pity the deliveryman for getting a scolding from my aunt. But hey! They

should have the initiative to call or something right? I WILL TELL YOU THIS AND I AM SURE

EVERYONE OUT THERE WILL AGREE.

FREE FOOD IS ALWAYS MUCH TASTIER THAN THE ONES YOU HAVE TO PAY.

{May 14, 2009}   FABRIYUNIE

Ayunie a.k.a Ms Fabregas! That is what my soccer friends will shout for me whenever I meet

them. AT LEAST they can pronounce the name properly. I know that not everyone living in

this world loves soccer. But HELLO! If you can’t pronounce the name, just call my real name!

Damn it! Stop insisting!

ATTENTION TO PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO CAN’T PRONOUNCE FABREGAS!

This is how you do it: FA (Your music notes: Doh- ray –mi- FA)-BREE-GUST!

Some will say why Fabregas? My reply is simple- he is my boyfriend! Used to be my idol but he

is one step ahead now☺

God… HE IS CUTE. I’ve adored him for 5 years already. I actually see him grow from an

amateur player to a professional one. Not only that, at 21, he already captains the Arsenal

team. Isn’t that amazing? Not many players can accomplish such achievement in their short

career.

I idolized him a lot that whenever I’m feeling down, angry or anything, I just have to look at

his picture and AUTOMATICALLY I’ll be calmed.  We may be miles apart but we are FATED to

be together☺ haha.. I know that I always annoy you guys out there who every time will ask me

to snap back to reality. But hey I do depend on miracles!

Like Laurence J. Peter said:

Don’t believe in miracles – depend on them.

Anyway, my sis gave me the photo of Fabregas when he was young and current. Here it is:

When he was young

He is SO Adorably cute isn’t he? YES. C-U-T-E! CUTE. My heart will skip a beat whenever I see him. Gosh!

= Ayunie Adiana’s Love for soccer

Soccer is a game that brings the world together. It is played in many countries around the

globe. I remember going to the Suntec City to see the world cup trophy in 2006 and I got this

wristband that said “We speak football. One language.”  No matter what language you speak,

the same rules apply for the game☺

And here’s a picture I took with the 2006 World Cup Trophy:

Ayunie n World cup 2006 trophy

SOCCER IS FANTASTIC SPORT. TAKE MY ADVICE PEOPLE! IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO

PLAY, LEARN IT. YOU DO NOT WANT TO LEARN IT, SIMPLY LOVE THE BEAUTY OF THE

GAME☺

I kicked start the first week of school with IS lesson at 1! Though the class its at 1 on a Monday afternoon, I did not feel it was a tired long afternoon. Instead, it was a great lesson to start off the week. The IS lesson was very interesting. The recent issues was discussed and I could share my thoughts with the class☺

Tuesday was when I actually meet all my classmates!

T1B1 is a fantastic class! I am very pleased to be part of this class. Though there’ s only 15 of us in class, I feel that we are so bonded. It was only the first week of school but it was as if I have known these people for a very long time. For sure, they have added taste to my poly life. The classes I had was challenging yet interesting especially for 2D Art class.

Why 2D Art? It tests my patience and my capability to draw. Not being a good artist by nature, I had difficulties drawing as I do not have any past art experiences! But that’ s ok. I’ll work hard. Like my tutor said: This drawing skills can be acquired if I practice and practice.

Like Theodore Roosevelt said:

Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.

As for Computer Graphics all I can say is C-O-N-F-U-S-I-N-G! With shortcut keys to remember to help us with the editing using Photoshop, it’s like I’ve been thrown a bag filled with gold. Lots of useful information and tips were given! Thanks a lot Sir.

I ended of the week with storytelling/ storyboarding class. It was enjoyable. The tutor shared with us some basic rules of storytelling and that after I had to open this account to do the homework!

As for now, I’ll like to say that I’m really having a good time and look forward what’s in store for me☺

And here I have the picture of the 6 girls n ME!
